This picture of a 4 month old alpaca named Romance was taken in late autumn during a very early snowfall.  Young alpacas discover many new things during their first year of life and their first snow is just one of those experience.  Being raised in Canada, this will be the first of many snowfalls in Romance’s lifetime.  Immortalizing those first encounters in a young alpaca’s life are some of my favorite moments to photograph.
