No reservation is needed. Our activities are spread out on 30 acres of land so there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the farm!
During the high season (Summer and fall) you just need to meet us at the admission booth upon arrival to purchase your access ticket and receive all the information required for your farm visit.
During the off season (Winter and spring), you can purchase your admission ticket directly at the farm's boutique.
The admission rate includes the self-guided tour, access to the 4km nature trail network, access to the main observation area as well as the picnic and playground areas.
ADMISSION:
ADULT | $10 |
CHILD (3 to 12 yrs old) | $5 |
TODDLER (2 yr and under) | FREE |
We recommend planning at least 45 to 60 minutes up to a maximum of 2 to 3 hours should you wish to have a picnic on-site and fully enjoy the interpretive nature trail network.
We do not offer walks with alpacas however we propose a self-guided circuit of the farm so you can get up close with them in the most respectful and natural way possible. The walking circuit follows our pasture fences where you will have the chance to see them up close and learn all there is to know about these wonderful animals. All this in one of the most picturesque setting of the region!
Unfortunately, dogs (or any other domestic animals) are not allowed on the farm.
Absolutely! Many picnic tables with umbrellas are available onsite. Your admission ticket gives you access to the two main picnic areas. The first one with a panoramic view of the female pastures and surrounding mountains and the other one near our watchtower, overlooking the marsh. Our Adirondack chairs and picnic tables are available from late spring to late fall or until the first frost.
We do not provide any food service on-site so plan on bringing your own picnic. Located only 10 minutes away, Sutton’s village offers plenty of options thanks to friendly local groceries and restaurants offering take-out meals.
Absolutely! Kids of all age can walk the trails as they were designed with them in mind!
If you plan on bringing a stroller for your toddler, we highly recommend a « jogger » style stroller with larger all-terrain wheels which will be much more adapted to the variations of terrain throughout our trail network (grass, gravel and forest trails).
When there is snow on the ground, we highly recommend a toddler sled for your littles ones or a baby or toddler carrier which makes it easier to access the entire trail network.
Yes! Certain sections of the farm are better adapted to a person with reduced mobility and will still allow them to see alpacas and enjoy the site. As « reduced mobility » is a term that covers many realities, we will be able to better advise you upon arrival at the farm so that your visit is best suited to your specific needs.
