We are back from the 2023 Alpaga Québec halter show and we are very happy with the results of our crew, especially our grey juvies! New this year, Supreme Championships we’re held in 4 different age groups, and we are absolutely delighted with the Reserve Supreme Juvenile Male ribbon won by our classic grey boy Titanium!

Here are the detailed results…

TITANIUM

  • 1st place Junior Grey Male

  • Reserve Champion Grey Male

  • Reserve Supreme Junior Male (2nd overall best junior male (6 to 12 months) in show, all colours considered!)

SILVER MOONLIGHT

  • 1st place Junior Grey Female

  • Reserve Champion Grey Female

BLAZER

1st place Yearling Black Male

FLASH

2nd place Junior Grey Male (just behind half-brother Titanium)

RUSTY

2nd place Yearling Grey Male

(Rusty was undeniably a crowd favorite in our crew and came right behind the modern grey Colour Champion and Reserve Supreme 1 year-old male, which was though competition coming from out West!)

DIVA

3rd place Yearling Grey Female

FAITH

4th place Yearling Grey Female

ROMANTIC PASSION

5th place Juvenile Fawn Female

Out of a very competitive class of 9! Judge said it was one of the toughest classes he had to judge over the weekend and that only about 2 microns separated the 1st from the 6th place…

Side note:

Jophiel’s full brother wins his second Grand Supreme Male award (Judge’s Choice | Best male in show) at 57 months of age, which is almost 5 years old! We are truly eager for the upcoming birthing season to begin, and impatiently awaiting Jophiel’s first crias on our farm, with the first ones du in early June!

Congratulations to all farms that participated and it’s a rendez-vous next year!

We just got back from the 2023 Alpaga Québec halter show, and I couldn’t be happier with how our team performed, especially the grey juvies—they really stood out! It’s always rewarding to see the hard work pay off and to connect with others in the alpaca community. After such an exciting and busy event, I like to take some time to relax https://www.accc.gov.au/system/files/social-media-influencer-testimonials.pdf and unwind, often with a quiet evening at The Pokies. It’s a nice way to decompress and reflect on the day while enjoying a bit of downtime after all the hustle and bustle of the show.
