Our most prized ribbons are certainly the two Colour Championships won by our first two Taji crias. We imported Plum Creek’s Taji from the United States a few years ago and it was our first time showing his offspring here in Canada.  The show judge Robin Nasemann only had great comments on both their conformation as well as the combination of positive fleece traits they are expressing.  Extreme fineness and uniformity of micron combined to superior follicular density is certainly a combination that is more rarely found in classic greys and the judge seem to recognize and appreciate this exact combination in both offspring from Taji.

We also had a few nice surprises such as the Fawn Colour Championship won by our female Romantic Passion and the « Best Head » award won by our beige juvenile male Salvation! Also a special shoutout to our girl Bellissima who is genetically classic rosegrey but ended up showing in fawn. She placed 4th in a though class of 9 fawn juvenile females! Not too bad for a classic grey girl!

Our two Best Head entries!

Salvation won but we think Tofino might have been a close second!

We are extremely happy with our 2024 results, and we come back home with a certain level of pride for all the efforts invested in our breeding program!  We now look forward to summer, shearing and the upcoming birthing season.  We are already excited to welcome many new crias this summer, with many of them from Taji that are du starting late May.
